the early start

MeeW was founded back in 2015, with the intention of disrupting the previous traditional labor market and creating new initiatives that could benefit the individual job seeker.

2016

Conceptualizing

The conceptualization of our new job app continued, with the underlying desire to give the individual job applicant greater options. We assessed that it should be possible for the general job applicant to look for a job while they were on the go.

2017

THe meew app

The development of the job application called, MeeW, began to really take off. Our team started making sketches, setting up wireframes and figuring out the design itself – here by the app’s visual appearance. The founder Armin Kavousi and the team at the time, built upon their concept idea and the company, all while having their own full-time jobs and employment on the side.

2018

REVOLUTIONARY JOB APP LIVE

No less than 1 year later, the MeeW team was finally ready to launch the swipe-based job app that had taken 3 years to develop. The app had absorbed all personal funds, and yet massive support had been gained from numerous parties who saw value in the platform. MeeW’s new job app allowed free recruitment opportunities, CV database, a free CRM system and an innovative user interface where the user could swipe their way to a job via the service. Furthermore, the platform allowed an AI-guided matching of profiles and companies.

2019

REINTERPRETATION OF THE MODERN WORKPLACE

Smaller initiatives were initiated in the company, which should strengthen the employees’ self-driven motivation, passion and the desire to perform in their daily work. We made room for an open culture, without a marked hierarchical structure, where all employees could work freely and independently. The new initiatives resulted in increased productivity and a doubling of turnovers

2020

From an app to a unicorn

The cultural initiatives made a significant difference, because when corona infiltrated the labor market in 2020, neither our workflow, culture nor other frameworks in the organization were weakened. Our free work process and culture meant that our employees were ready for change. We launched and developed several in-house products, and therefore expanded our expertise and business area. We bet on several directions, rather than believing that a concept idea should pave the way for our future.

The path to a stock exchange

The road towards the Stock Exchange has led to a significant expansion and doubling of the number of employees, a restructuring of our company structure, several departments, new ownership, and a new and improved vision that is rooted in our own cultural DNA and mindset.

2022

MeeW breaks through in the press

MeeW finally breaks through in the press, increases their media coverage and shows their worth by participating in Go’ Morgen Denmark. The organization has achieved publicity that only paves the way for more valuable investment projects, network connections and customer cases on the journey towards a potential Stock Exchange.
